Student Support Center Mission Statement

Our aim is to rise with our students’ abilities and skills, using the latest and most professional methods, inside and outside the regular classroom. We also take extra care of our students to help them unleash the best in them academically, emotionally, and socially.

Who We Are

Our Student Support Center was established in 2016, its main goal is to assist students who face academic challenges. We also provide them with strategies to be implemented throughout their learning process.

General Objective

Student Support Center at Asamiah International School abides by the Jordanian Ministry of Education laws and regulations, protecting the students under the provisions of the Jordanian law.

The Center works to develop students’ performance based on the IB program requirements through emphasizing on building personal identity and self-esteem, extending the areas of learning, and collaborative work between teachers, parent and with the student himself.

SPEECH THERAPY

Our center now offers speech language services to students who are eligible for support.  We provide a combination of direct instruction, small group work, and teacher/parent consultations. Students may receive speech therapy and individualized instruction in the areas of articulation, language, voice, and/or fluency.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Through our occupational therapy (OT)  services, we assist students with their fine and gross motor skills both inside and outside the classroom. We work with students to help them develop the skills they need to grow into functional, independent citizens.
